Test your piano students with three gingerbread-themed games that get them reading notes in treble clef, bass clef and ledger lines.
The games
Next Stop: Gingerbread Village (2–4 players): a racing game. Name the note, find how many spaces to move, and race to the Finish.
Gingerbread Moving Day (2 players): Name the note to move your gingerbread man into their new house. But if someone already lives there, you bump them out!
The Smart Cookie Gingerbread Shop (2 players): name the note to sell the cookie. The first player to sell out their shop wins.
Students practise:

What you’ll need
A printer (I recommend printing on card or laminating to make the games stronger)
Scissors or a guillotine
Two dice, or an online dice roller (for the print ’n’ play grids)
A playing piece for each player (for Next Stop: Gingerbread Village)
Optional: Your own counters (if you don't want to print and cut out the ones in the download)
Quick note:
The ledger line grid has no clef, so you can choose treble or bass before you start
