Sometimes, students see semibreves, dotted minims, and minims (whole notes, half notes, dotted half notes) and think
 
"How many beats is this one worth?"
 
And then they remember, but then hit another problem:
 
They don't hold it for long enough.
 
Or they rush the counts
 
"1.........2.....3..4"
 
This game takes those three notes and combines them with lasagnes and adorable animals (because why not) 
 
Each animal's lasagne has to cook for a certain number of beats. 
 
If you don't hold the note for long enough, the lasagne is undercooked. 
 
Hold it for too long and the lasagne is burnt.
 
Hold it for the right number of beats, and you've got a perfect lasagne!
