Encourage your students to play rhythms to the metronome with this cute frog-themed music game!
 
WHAT IS IT? 
Players take turns rolling the dice and moving on the board
When they land on a note space, they add that note to their rhythm 
When they reach a sleeping frog space, they must STOP (even if they have more spaces left on their roll) and play their rhythm along to the metronome
The tempo is the teacher's choice. 
If they play it correctly, they can move forward next turn. If they play it incorrectly, next turn they must try again.
The first player to reach the end is the winner.
 
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE DIGITAL DOWNLOAD?
Instructions for how to play 'Ribbit Rhythms'
2 colourful boards:
One with 'basic' rhythms (crotchets, minims, 2 quavers, 4 semiquavers, crotchet rests)
One with 'more complex' rhythms (dotted notes, triplets, 2 semiquavers + quaver, quaver + 2 semiquavers)
Note tokens (but these can be omitted and you can use a whiteboard and pen instead)
